Now that's the one that tickles my fancy. Respect to Bruno who is currently the best player in Portugal, but Felix is the future truth!

Felix and Bruno. What a present that would be for Pep.

I am glad to see our club have finally decided enough is enough. These are guys who don't just get you to fluke a Champions League final appearance.

With what we already have, I would not be surprised to see us win it at least twice during the next five years.

Felix is the thinking man's Mbappe.

I also fear KDB will never be the same again after his recent run of injuries.
I cant even bear the thought...

But seriously, muscle injuries are pretty common after knee issues. Hopefully a full summer off (surely he's done this year) will do him a world of good.

Exactly. Too many games last season and WC led to his injuries struggles. He’s not even in his prime yet!!

We forget, he also suffered a bad knee injury against Everton in the League Cup well before that. He's coming up for 28 and is certainly hitting his prime.

However, when the injuries start coming, they never stop. Ask Vinny.

Mendy is 24 and is another who just plays on the limits of what his body is able to handle.

Ah!!! You've finally cracked the code on how to describe the kid :) those 2 would be immense.

She appears to be clearing her throat.

I know Txiki has had two meetings on this already.

Felix is the one, though. I assumed the figures involved would rule us out but we are being very aggressive in the market these last few weeks.

That would tally with my info the club expect a transfer ban of some sorts next January.

There might be a couple coming from Benfica and keeping fingers crossed on Rodrigo.

Just thinking aloud, I suspect, Danilo and Gundo are goners and we will be forced to sell Leroy if he doesn't commit before mid-June.
Thanks for the updates

Bruno won’t be a Fernandinho replacement. He’s a way more advanced midfielder. I’m also presuming that we’ll keep Gundo at DM or buy a more direct replacement for Fernandinho (hopefully Rodri). We have Foden who is ready to start PL games as well. And he’s barely played in the league this season.
He doesn't directly play in Fernandinho's position but does free up others to do so namely Gundogan if he's here, and in my opinion KDB would be fantastic there and would place less strain on his body too.

Plus this season and last season has placed a huge strain on our current squad, mentally and physically. Needs freshening up next season anyway, never stand still.

More worried about Mendy.

Pep said the club will have to treat Kev more carefully so I hope that means he is not getting run into the ground.

Think that’s a bit dramatic tolm. Kdb was at his best against spurs in the champions league before getting a hamstring strain in the league game. Very common occurrence after a lengthy lay off. Sure with a nice break and full pre season he will be fit and firing next season

True enough, but Belgium also could well call him up for two qualifiers in June.

No chance Bruno is a DM. I mean lol at the thought even. He needs to be near the goal.

Just spoke to a big sporting fan and says he is a top class player. The best ever he saw at the club actually.

Attacks, defends, scores, remind of him a little bit of Lampard.

Really excited for this signing. Hope it happens.

Maybe play Kev further back and Fernandes in front of him. Kev can still sneak forward and whip those crosses in from the right while putting him under less strain.
