Bruno Fernandes

Apart from everything else, how nice would it be to have a proper penalty taker again? 9/10 scored for Sporting, 13/15 overall going back to when he was 20.

No fucking about with Aguero's 70% record or passing the ball around everyone else, just give it to the man who scores 90% of them and add a goal to the board.

With VAR coming in next season there'll likely be a pretty big increase in penalties given across the board in the early months of the season, so it could mean even more than it does now to have a 90%+ taker of them.
To be fair gundogan is a brilliant penalty taker

Sod the supposed bloody sell-on fee for Moreno if this is what is holding up the deal. Moreno’s loan spells have been nothing short of a failure. It is not worth trying to get a transfer completed which includes a deal for a player who will probably never feature for our first team.

Sell moreno straight out, get Bruno Fernandes signed if Pep wants him

Holding it up we only started talks last week!

We really don't need another attacking midfielder, it would be just another kick in the teeth for Phil Foden.
I think Foden, like Bernardo, can also play RW. So if we shift Gundogan to DM (or he leaves) and with an aging David Silva, then for the future we have:

CM: Fernandes, Foden/Bernardo, Kevin <----- with Foden/Bernardo rotating out Mahrez out on RW

I also think when Aguero leaves that Sane can play as a striker as well.

Overall, the buy seems to be in regards to losing David and Gundogan in the CM in the near future.

If Txiki is haggling over the price for Moreno Pep will probably lose his mind on Txiki. Txiki has done some very good business the past few years but I can imagine Pep has been disappointed at some deals falling through.

Imagine this guy in our team with the players we already have, Jesus!

He looks insane, you can't base a proper opinion looking at Youtube videos but it doesn't take a genius to see that this guy is scary good. I can't think of a similar player to his style which is unusual too

Where is Martin Blackburn?? Need some reporting from his end too.Hopefilly like Bernardo, this deal will be done before this month end

Reason for the low fee is interesting

Sporting initially asked for €70 million (£60m/$78m) for Fernandes, but City are hopeful an offer of €50m (£43m/$56m), plus two players, either on loan or permanent deals, will be sufficient.

Good use of CFG , if it works out

Portuguese reports have claimed that Marlos Moreno, who has been loaned out by City since joining in 2016, Eliaquim Mangala, a Mendes client who joined from Porto in 2014, and Douglas Luiz and Aleix Garcia, who have been on loan at Girona, could be part of any deal.

Having watched videos and read Sporting CP fans opinions of him. Sounds like besides being a good passer and an intelligent footballer. He is like Bernardo in the sense that he never stops running. So can definitely understand why Pep would want him.
