That’s what players cost now. The only reason we haven’t needed to spend is because we bought players around the £50m mark 3/4 seasons ago apart from Jack. Now to strengthen with top quality costs obscene amounts.If we spend £100m on him we want shooting.
So either pay it or buy 2 substandard players like nunes and Phillips and remain in a state of crises.
Not a great age and not convinced he is up to the standard we require tbh (assuming we want to be competing for prem and champs league). I hope we don’t sign him personally I think we could get two better players around Europe for half the price

next question is that at his peak is he anywhere near a Gundo, KDB at their peaks? - answer is no....is he even Foden level - No...or Bernardo Silva level - No -
I dont get why we are going for this guy if we are.....he just isnt all that...I think this is another example of a transfer that if we do go through with it we will regret in the future (Phillips, Nunes being two other examples of this)
Anything more than 50m and we are getting ripped off and we are getting a player well below required standards for the next incarnation of this team which should be looking to get back to the top....

Genuine question, who do people expect to see in January if Bruno is allegedly not good enough? I would be astounded in the most positive way if we even manage to get him, a player of his calibre. That would be an incredible purchase for January.
