People have been prediting big refreshes every summer for years, we don't do them ,simply because teams at the top don't need to and they aren't worth the risk. We'll bring in an AM. some kind of DM cover with Phillips and Gomes probably going. Then replace players like Ortega and Bernardo only if we need to. Our starting 11 next season won't be very different to this.

What a player Akanji has been. Nobody at Dortmund would've ever envisioned him turning into the player he is today, or they would've put a much higher price tag on him.

This is why nobody saw CP playing like he is at Chelsea plus don't think his style is suited to Pep style.At Chelsea everything goes through him.Pep has and will never play like that .Team game.

That said, Guimaraes took a knock late in the game and wears his heart on his sleeve, so probably a combination of that and disappointment with the result. His subsequent social media posts don’t indicate anything to suggest he’s leaving.

Need players with more of a goal threat as we are too heavily dependent on Haaland and Foden and Kev.
We already have players with great technique but need more than that up front.

There's been some rumors that Palace would want at least £60m for him. Not sure how reputable they are though. I'd imagine loads of clubs are inquiring about him - everybody is trying to find the next Rodri after seeing our success.

Feel a bit for Crystal Palace, I think their quality players will be poached this summer with regards to Eze, Olise, and possibly Wharton.

I think this is a bit harsh, Bruno is better than average. But not worth the £100m price tag Newcastle would want for him. Feels like an Assenal signing to pair next to Rice.

Would much prefer we go after someone to replace KDB as soon as possible, his legs are starting to go. My favorite City player of all time but looked labored last night.
