Despite Zuculini's appearances in friendlies, City have still yet to pay Racing the £1.3m fee to complete the transfer

---------------------------------------------

Is he on trial? hence the none announcement of his signature?

Would make sense, and from what i've seen, he's worth signing for the £1.3m fee.

Definitely, early signs are very encouraging, already i'd be happy to see him get Cup time.

He has the potential to be a very good box to box player, good vision and awareness and an excellent engine.

Re: Bruno Zuculini

Looks like a bargain signing, but surely now his contract is expired with Racing we would have already paid to fee for him if we were going to? He would be a free agent right now if he hasn't signed for us but on his twitter he has put Jugador del Manchester City (Manchester City player) cant imagine anyone on trial putting that. He seems like as big a part of the squad as anyone plus he arrived in Manchester nearly a month ago cant imagine anyone being on trial that long.

We paid the fee because racing are in financial ruin and didn't want to lose their best player on a free so we agreed to help them out by paying for Bruno in order to strengthen relationships in south america all our recent works are going towards increasing fledgling trade relations we wouldn't want to jeopardise such by participating in underhand tactics for the sake of a few million

Re: Bruno Zuculini

Yeah but I was saying we must have already paid it! Does anyone really believe that 1.3 mil is going to strengthen anything, its a nice gesture but they would have been entitled to development money and I cant really see 1.3mil getting us an edge, any promising player coming from Argentina I think we will already know about before because our coaching and playing staff, and if Racing do have another promising player they will sell to the highest bidder IMO. I think we have agreed a fee as we believe his has huge potential and if he realizes it the development fee could be a lot higher.

Re: Bruno Zuculini

I've always thought committing even just 2-4% of the FFP cap to him was dicey before finalizing the rest of this Summer's impact signings. If we see BZ go official following the Mangala announcement that would just make sense to me.

If City do not deposit the transfer fee to Racing for Bruno Zuculini this week, the Argentine club will ask for him back. (via @leoparadizo)

Shall we have a whip round ?
He's out of contract, they can't otherwise I'd happily contribute a tenner.
