Bruno Zuculini

Manchester City youngster Bruno Zuculini is on the brink of a move to Hellas Verona, according to reports in Italy.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Valencia and then Cordoba and is now set to leave City having failed to break into the first-team.

Italian news outlet Sky Sport 24 are claiming that new Verona director Riccardo Bigon wants to make Zuculini his first signing at the Serie A club.

The Argentine youth international joined Manuel Pellegrini's side in 2014 after spending four years with Racing Club.

He was less than 5 mil so no biggie but I'm confused with his purchase as well. Him going to Valencia to be with his buddies was never going to work out.

It was a cheap punt with potential, plus a chance to build relations with a club in South America.
Looks like it won't work out, no biggie.

He looked good in pre-season last year.

We really need an affiliate agreement along the lines of Chelsea's with Vitesse to be able to consistently send players on loan to get regular game time in a league they are actually ready for.

What the fuck did we buy this lad for?

The Mind boggles..
Think it was just so we could put him in car sending him up to Sunderland only to then inform the world press that we have made an error and have turned the car around because under the new FFP rules a newly bought player can not join a premier league club..
Well done!!The team behind the scene..

Manchester City midfielder Bruno Zuculini is poised to join Valencia on loan.

The 21-year-old, signed from Racing Club in a £3m deal last month, was expected to join Sunderland in a temporary move, but Financial Fair Play regulations prevent new arrivals from immediately moving on loan to another Premier League club.

Zuculini impressed on Manchester City's pre-season tours of Scotland and the USA where he etched himself firmly into the long-term plans of Manuel Pellegrini.
