Which means he is inelligible as an U21 & therefore would have to take up one of the 17 squad places for non homegrown players. DeBruyne signing means either Zuculini, or someone else, has to go, very quickly, or they will be sat around at City, only eligible to play cup games (if selected). We can't allow that to happen to a kid at 22 or a senior player.

It is, he had to be under 21 on Jan 1, he was 21 and turned 22 in February.

I think automatically the newest member of the squad misses out, in this case KDB should not be registered..
