300M just to get 1 point behind the rags with 9 matches to go. Just shows how hard it is to catch up to the rags and how unfair it football really is now.

-- Fri Mar 23, 2012 1:48 am --

dazdon said:Bryan Robson: Sir Alex Ferguson takes no nonsense
According to Robson, City strikers Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli have been allowed to disrupt their team's challenge in a way that Ferguson would never have allowed.
"The Man City job is a no-win situation," he said. "If Roberto Mancini wins the league this year, everyone will say he had £300m to spend on players and their set-up is unbelievable.
Scribbles this illiterate bastards name into my little black book.
So far today we've had...
A Jock (Tommy Docherty)
A Geordie (Bryan "I've 'urt me arm again" Robson)
A Cockney (Wio camel shagging Ferdinand)
Whatever are they going to talk about when we do win the title...they are making moral rules up on how you should win it
Not to mention slagged his team mates off in the process.M.C.F.C.O.K said:Robson contrasts Mancini's handling of the pair with Ferguson's hardline approach towards Wayne Rooney, who was fined and dropped after under-performing in training following a night out.
But when he threatend to leave and got that pay rise...
Kippaxgirl said:I am so tired of them saying City has bought the EPL. Yes, they have spent a lot on players in a relatively short time. However, they weren't able to spend the big bucks on players prior to the Sheikh taking over whereas the Arsenals, Chelseas, Spurs, and Uniteds of the EPL have spent big bucks for years. City was basically bereft of talent and had to go on a spending spree. Probably spent more on some players than we should but the squad is now in Manchester and the blue side of Manchester will rule.

That's the way I feel. I've always tried to be cool and calm when we get a good result as I know it could easily be thrown back in my face at a later date. But at the moment I really think that if we can snatch this league I will climb on to my roof and scream with joy to the heavens. It will be the greatest thing that's ever happened to me.

I am going to be unbearable. Truly unbearable.
When you think about it I'm struggling to think of a title race that has had as much as stake as this one in recent years - even when Liverpool were chasing them down four seasons ago. When you think about what City winning it will mean to us, as fans, and united fans after years of mocking us and let's not forget Ferguson too, it is....what's that word?......it's on the tip of my tongue.....ah yes, that's it....massive.
