That's the way I feel. I've always tried to be cool and calm when we get a good result as I know it could easily be thrown back in my face at a later date. But at the moment I really think that if we can snatch this league I will climb on to my roof and scream with joy to the heavens. It will be the greatest thing that's ever happened to me.

When you think about it I'm struggling to think of a title race that has had as much as stake as this one in recent years - even when Liverpool were chasing them down four seasons ago. When you think about what City winning it will mean to us, as fans, and united fans after years of mocking us and let's not forget Ferguson too, it is....what's that word?......it's on the tip of my tongue.....ah yes, that's it....massive.

I've recently been practising a "smirk". I intend to have it on my face every time I'm in the company of a United fan if we win the league. It won't be a "grin", it will be a "smirk".

I like that, very much. A knowing smirk. I shall go and practice in the mirror myself shortly. In fact I've been working on it as I type this: practice makes perfect.

Most footballers are thick and Mr Robson just illustrates this with his ill-informed opinions. We may well lose out this year but our time is nearly here so we will may have to wait a little longer for title success. But all this daily bile is getting embarrassing from them. It proves they are scared shitless and is a sign of desperation. Have you noticed that we are not rising to the bait ie Mancini and the players. He must have had a word with them to ignore the flak from the dump. Everyone connected with the shite are acting like the school bully and that is none the more displayed by their manager. The message would seem to be that Ferguson takes no sh*t from players, no matter how big a star they are !

Is this is the same Robson who cost a British transfer record at the time? Is this the same rags who routinely outspent every team in the country for years, "buying the league"?

And I'm sure Robson has personal knowledge of Ferguson's management style seeing as he dumped Robson's two best drinking buddies Whiteside and McGrath, and giving Robson a final warning about his over-reliance on alcohol.

Just out of interest, but do the rags have some sort of college where they gather all their ex-players, managers, supporters and current players, where they are given media training on bitterness and hypocrisy.

Recently it seems that we've been watching those that have attained Masters degree level!

The Agenda

There isnt one. What there is however is a sustained and tireless attempt to change perception, curry favour and increase a sense of expectation and entitlement at the swamp.

Our morally bankrupt neighbours have wheeled out the paragon of virtue that is Brian Robson to deliver the latest 'salvo' designed to destabilise us and undermine our manager. Their purpose is two fold, one being a direct attempt to rattle Mancini, the other being an attempt to instill a mindset in the public via an all too eager press that we as a club are in disarray. I have a feeling rolling out robbo will be about as effective as raiding the retirement home for scholsey, however, decades of experience in the practise of brinksmanship by the rags should put us on high alert.

The snowstorm they create is seen by sluralex as being every bit as important as anything they do on the pitch. His tactics intimidate referees, convince the weaker minded of the rags superiority, leads the media round by the nose and, without a planned counter strategy, will sow seeds of doubt in opponents minds.

There is a mindset that needs to be changed if the perception of 'Agenda' is going to be broken. I believe Mancini is the man to do it. The riposte of Vieira recently leads me to believe we will fight back to valiant effect. For future reference, WHEN we win this league, we must be ruthless in reminding EVERY SINGLE one of the fools who attempted to undermine us in our campaign how wrong they were at every possible opportunity and for a very long time to come.
