Stories starting to come out that BT are about to conclude a deal with UEFA to show the CL from 2015. It's not clear whether it's an exclusive deal but the sum paid will dwarf what Sky & ITV pay so the chances are it could be.

This could be a game-changer for us as the market pool for a country's clubs depends on the value of the TV market in that country. Watch this space.

I really hope not, BT sport is a disaster, Michael owen and Mark Halsey...are you kidding me, and what a ridiculous studio they got. Talk about trying to do something on the cheap....
Better off subscribing to LFC tv anyway, at least their Liverpool bias is expected.

First year of broadcast for BT Sport, so bound to be a bit novicey.
They don't (yet) seem to be that biased towards certain clubs as Sky although they should widen the affiliations of the pundits.

I heard something on Talksport about once BT have full control over the CL rights they will start doing pay per view on the games on top of the subscription fee, something like that anyway!

Either way what a joke!!

The free BT Sport with BT broadband won't last forever as well as its just not financially stable for the company, we pay for BT Sport in our house as we have SKY broadband and at this moment in time we are looking to get rid of it because its simply too expensive for what you get, I think overall the PL coverage and punditry is average!

SKY will look like they will start going downhill once it happens if you ask me and BT's PL coverage will only increase, shame really because their coverage and punditry is first class!

I hope so. Sky have had this Monopoly too long and got complacent, and it's time for them to get seriously challenged and send the jeepers up them. Competition is better for the customer look at the WWE/WCW wars.

Thing is sky won't reduce the subscription and will carry the premier league and bt will charge more so its just the customer who gets fucked over.

Took the words out of my mouth.

But it might inspire Sky to invest in another league with the CL money, such as the Bundesliga.

So you would be happy paying £15 a month plus potential pay per view fees for games to listen to an average set if pundits talk about City?

BT won't offer free Sport TV with their broadband forever, it's going to be ridiculous if they charge pay per view on top of their subscription fee!

Their lineup and presenters are so poor compared to SKY, then again it wouldn't surprise me Neville, Souness, Redknapp, Tyler etc jumping ship when this happens!
