BT Sport about to snatch the CL off Sky/ITV?

This is the way football is going now lads it's all about the cash.

But watching Sky downplay the Champion's League because they lost the rights after hyping it up for donkeys years as club footballs biggest competition is going to be a laugh.

The major problem Sky has is its infrastructure, it doesn't have one, it will not be cost effective to use satellites to broadcast TV eventually and they have nothing else in place, they use BT's lines etc for there broadband, phone lines...the future will be BT and Virgin...And Sky are caught in the middle with know where to go

BT are fucking insane thinking this will get them more customers. Im seriously not going to fork out £15 a month to watch mostly shite until February

-- 09 Nov 2013, 10:37 --

How do you think Virgin get there cable shows??

If only there were another way. For instance Al Jazeera Sport show every premier league, chimps league, carling cup and fa cup game, as well as all other major European league and competition. An online subscription allows you to steam all 15 channels whenever including 6 HD, on any internet capable device, and cost around 50 quid for the season . Of course with Sky/BT/ITV holding the rights in the UK, there is no way to get it over here......no way at all. Nope can't be done......if only there were a way....;-) i'm sure noone would be interested anyway!

I really hope not, BT sport is a disaster, Michael owen and Mark Halsey...are you kidding me, and what a ridiculous studio they got. Talk about trying to do something on the cheap....
Better off subscribing to LFC tv anyway, at least their Liverpool bias is expected.

Halsey and Owen are the downside of BTSport, but I prefer their effort than the SSNakesTV. I've noticed an irreverence to all teams on BT which is something that you wouldn't get on SSNakesTV. And have Sky got anything that is as enjoyable at Life's a Pitch?

I prefer BT coverage except for owen and if it means no more tyler sneering his way through our games then even better
I dont see how taking Champions League football from 100% of the country to 14% of the country is a good thing even if we did have to listen to Clive and his glorious wank in Barcelona.
People will not sign up to BT for the CL and 38 PL games a season. Sky have been going 20 years and have a far superior program line up overall and have just over 10 million people. They only had 500,000 people sign up before the free BT Sports with broadband deal. Everyone can hate what they want and on bluemoon its Sky but it also being taken away from the people who just have freeview
