Last night City didnt exactly set the world alight, but christ was the commentary so negative. They had absolutely nothing good to say about us. Danny Mills actually said 'Sterling hasnt been playing very well lately'... then he must have suddenly remembered the weekend and said 'yes i know he got a hattrick on Saturday, but that was against a sloppy Bournemouth'.... I mean christ come on!!! And thats just one little example.

Why would BT Sport, who air to UK fans, be so dickish (dont know if thats a real word) about the UK team? Are we being sensitive? Whats actually going on?!?!?!? haha

Turned the commentary off in the end cos I was so sick of listening to his warbling. This from a player who, in a 15 year career, managed to win 1 league cup. His opinion is utterly irrelevant. It's saying something when you'd rather listen to Neville !

BT certainly are doing a great job for City. If their 'commentary' doesn't spark a rush for tickets nothing will.

Apparently we don't miss David Silva too much.

It was so bad last night.

Heard both of those comments and was fuming. Even the missus noticed how biased they were. Constantly putting us down - even mentioned how many tickets had been sold even before the match started.....

Its a horrible sports channel and full of horrible "pundits"...... and having co commentators such as mills, savage, james, mcmanaman, owen and hargreaves is bloody embarrassing. They are all so shit at it. How can Mills and Savage give "expert" opinions when they have a trophy cabinet of 1 league cup and 100 red cards between them????

every game ive watched, even non city games, they are always so negative to the uk teams. I think it must have been stated in the interview process to get their jobs, that you must be as miserable, negative and uninformative as possible. Its the only explanation.

thank god i dont have to pay for this channel!

Who was it who did the co commentary on ITV for Champs League? He was pretry good, like saying 'go on!' and stuff when any UK team had a chance, thats how they should be, they should want us to do well. they should also focus on the positives! What good is it to anyone when they only talk about the negative things? I really dont understand their logic!!

Andy Townsend? he was usually quite enthusiastic

I couldn't go last night,and fuck me how I didn't smash telly up I don't know.

Mills is such an anti city man its unreal, and Ian fucking Darke,go back to boxing you fucking tit,you were the voice of Prem football 20 odd years ago ffs,so BT scraping the barrel now for commentators as well as pundits

Was annoyed at the snipes from Mills last night from an ex-City player.
I watched he Arse vs Munich game on Tuesday and the co-commentator (no idea who it was) could not stop singing praises for Arsenal the entire game. Although he did say Boateng was the best defender in world football which even the main commentator said in surprise, "Really?!?!".

Just listened to my recording, not only commentary by the serial City hater Darke but B(for Bias)T conjoined him with the worthless, bile filled, utterly contemptible Danny Mills.

Our late winner had them choking back their pre-prepared script writing us off - wonderful lol

Is that what he said? Seriously?

As much as I hate him, this needs to be taken in context. He ACTUALLY said....Silva is not that big of a miss because City have De Bruyne who can come in and do a very good job in that role but Aguero is a much bigger miss because we have no one anywhere near his quality to come in and play up front. It's not an unreasonable point.

Ok. I can understand what he's saying. It isn't that valid a point though because Silva plays alongside De Bruyne, so is an enormous miss.

Exactly the point I was about to make. De Bruyne isn't waiting in the wings to step in when Silva is injured. Both are integral to our strongest team.

Oh don't get me wrong EVERY City fan wants Silva and KDB to be playing together, myself included. Silva has been our creator for so long and he makes us tick and KDB should compliment not replace him. I can see the point Mills was trying to make i.e. that having KDB in the side means we miss Silva less than we miss Aguero which isn't an unreasonable view considering Bony is struggling so badly.
