BT Sport

It does matter because the false narrative being given out is swallowed hook line and sinker by the hard of thinking supporters of every other team in the country. The myths that have been peddled already by the tabloid press and the likes of Talksport are regurgitated and the onward cycle of doing City down continues.
So whilst the score is the only thing important in one respect the constant belittling of our club shouldn't just be ignored.
Wankers.
That's just not true. I've said this many times now but I've spoken to a number of fans of different clubs at games or on holiday and many have been very positive about City. West Ham, Stoke, Sunderland, West Brom, QPR, even an Everton fan family friend (considering some of them have been bitter about us) all have had good things to say to me about City.

Have a look at social media mate for clear evidence of numpties repeating the shit they hear on the likes of BT Sport.

It's great watching us play last night for free knowing Bt ain't getting a penny of my money. Listening to the two idiots commentate last night was just a joke.

I don't use social media mate, it's a race to the bottom of intelligence

I know your thoughts on the subject mate and whilst I myself have met many lads from up and down the country over the years that have been ok I've met far, far more who buy into the shite they told by mainstream media.
My business brings me into contact of opposition fans on a regular basis and these days are far far different conversations than the same ones I had 8 years ago.

What I did find unprofessional last night was that both the commentator and Mills payed absolutely no attention to what was actually going on on the pitch as the pair of them were more interested in up and coming friendlies, Pep's, popularity with the Bayern fans, Pep's so called failings at Bayern, how Pep has his work cut out now he's at City, slagging off City's friendly schedule (we should be playing Mansfield and Lincoln not Dortmund, Arse and the rags) etc etc etc.. When Mills was asked, well what have we learned from this young City side? Mills said.."nothing really".. Well he would say that because he wasn't even watching the game properly and neither was the commentator, in fact it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't even at the game and were in a studio in London just casually glancing at the screen while throwing paper aeroplanes at Macpointy and Co.

That's what got me as well. It was just two blokes chatting shit with the game going on in the background.

I'm not going to disagree with that but there's a huge amount of football fans that do and the evidence is clear that they're mainly sheep repeating crap they hear from pundits.

I have to strongly disagree. I went to the Euros this year and spent a week in Lyon. We talked football to Italians, Belgians, French, Scottish, Norn Irish, Swedes, Welsh & a fair few English and was staggered by the general perception that we have bought all our success & that our stadium is never full. Bearing in mind that these conversation spanned a week and involved various nationality (all who took a huge interest in the EPL), these narrow opinions have to come from somewhere, and it can only be the biased shite spouted through the media.

If the media constantly broadcast the same old lies, eventually people will believe it's true.

On the bright side, judging by the number of Chelsea shirts being worn by the locals, the nouveau rich tag does have a finite lifespan (did see a couple of locals in City gear).

How do people get away with such statements. If anyone wants to check viewing figures go to http://www.barb.co.uk/viewing-data/weekly-viewing-summary/ for the official industry figures.

Quite a difference in the figures!

hen I explained I was a football fan, doubt his figures and that I assumed he was a junior member of staff on duty on a Saturday, he replied:

'Ah...now I understand your level expertise.

I do my own email and I don't have an "office boy" as you call it.

The viewing figures come from an independent source but I am guessing that won't make any difference to you.'

How does someone like that get such power in a huge organisation and the wtf is he doing replying to random emails on a Saturday afternoon?

No wonder the output is so poor.
