Even though it was a friendly game,other fans or neutrals who may have watched last nights game,or took in some of last seasons champions league games,may be thinking what does it matter get over it and stop being so precious over your club.well it's not that, we can take the criticism when it's justified and we aren't looking to be constantly praised or fawned over for the sake of it.But it's got to the stage where it's just criticism and snidey digs at the club most of the time now.And anyone who says it has no real effect is talking bollocks it portrays us to possible new fans across the spectrum other fans and joe public in general with the negativity and crap 24/7..the more you tell a lie the more it becomes the truth..

Messi,Xavi, Iniesta and a couple of others but they were playing awful and had not won a trophy for 2 years and the previous season they had finished 3rd in the league and were a whopping 18 points behind Real Madrid. It was Pep who sorted them out and turned they into a world class team. But never let the facts get in the way of a good story Danny

The interesting question here I suppose is whether Mills knew this and ignored it in favour of his scripted rant, or whether he was completely ignorant of how Barca were doing pre- Pep (and why his predecessor was canned) and spouted his nonsense through nothing but ignorance.

I'm guessing the latter.
