I wrote the following to BT Sport on a feedback form (please don't let me down if they take up my challenge!)
This regarding the punditry /commentary on the Burnley v Manchester City match.
I know I am not alone in believing there is a bias against Manchester City when it comes to your broadcasting team, I will not resort to individual / personal criticism just to say I thought today's output was particularly biased and antagonistic towards City.
Many of the views expressed were factually incorrect, case in point; ignoring the fact that the not given "penalty" in favour of Burnley was actually preceded by an offside and Mr Francis' (sorry I promised not to be personal but can't resist in his case|) laughable assertion re an offside restart being taken in the wrong half (inferring a wrong decision in favour of City) an incredible misunderstanding of the rules of the game.
There were numerous other examples, I'll spare you the details, but if your editorial and production team listened to and watched back the output impartially maybe they'd agree?
BTW I now turn down the sound to an absolute minimum and know of plenty who listen without the sound on at all. If you don't believe me just let me know and I'll gladly provide a verifiable list, the number of which would be considerable, so surprise me and ask.
In good faith
Phil
