I finally got to watch the match today, and made the mistake of leaving the sound on. The commentary was really depressing. Afterwards I was very unhappy even though we got to the quarterfinals. I mean it's an extremely boring match, but "the worst match I've seen"? He must have only ever watched El Clasico or something like that. Sometimes all I wish were relatively objective and insightful punditry, not exaggerations in every other sentence. The pundits ought to be trained.

I went last night because I wanted to watch City live as often as I can I have very strong views on the effect televised football has had and will continue to have since 1992. I do not need to watch BT to know what the likes of those two are going to say about City.

Costs me about 400 quid per game I attend, would cost me a days holiday from work to attend a midweek game as well. I've still made 9 games this season, 2 in the champions league. I'll criticise BT if I want.

I think your only allowed to criticise it if you go to every game and never watch it, I'm sure there's some logic in there somewhere
