They were still Jose style tactics(he wasn’t always shite). We’re a much better team than Madrid. My worry was we’d play as we were, which was very comfortable and a defensive cock up(shocker) would cost us a goal. Without an away goal we’d have been in the shit again. Thankfully the handbrake came off , KDB dropped a bit deeper and we had a striker. From then on the gulf looked like what it should be! Great result.

McTwatface commentated from a Madrid point of view. Making points about how they should break down City etc etc. Given that we dominated 80 per cent of the match he hardly mentioned us. I thought our tactics were spot-on. We disrupted them totally and picked them off.
McTwatface sounded gutted when we scored and his groan of "No" when Sterling was hacked down was pathetic. He should not be allowed to commentate on our matches not least because he can't read a game tactically. I thought the panel were pretty stupid as well. Rio and Crouch were positive abut City but didn't have any real insight into what Pep had done.
In the 70s we used to get tactical analysis on TV from people like Brian Clough and Malcolm Allison who were brilliant and added to the entertainment. BT just seem to be moronic.
