i think its a great idea and Sale should be applauded. Ferdinand is a very eloquent guy and he's everyone's best friend as practically all and sundry know him and call him by his Christian name. Innit
 
He is one of the most inarticulate people i have ever heard speak.

Anything cohesive would have to be squeezed out of him with a vice.
I think i shall be sticking with virgin, admittedly i'll be missing such insight as...

'he kicked him'

and

'the lads tried hard sometimes it's just not your day'

Give me strength to sustain this display of natural selection not being perfect.
 
I thought it was a wind-up.

Why do TV sports companies think that celebrity footballers will automatically make good presenters? Fucking Rio.

Why don't they get ex-players who are articulate, witty and knowledgeable? Surely pick them on the skills needed to be a pundit not because what they did in their last completely different job.
 
There are some very articulate footballers out there an excellent example being Ugo Ehiogu. Unfortunately though, BT will want a "big hitter" to front their show (no cricket puns please)
The only way forward is, just like the Premier League itself, a foreign star.
 
And there was me thinking an ex city player would be asked.....
