We Collected £1800 v Boro .£1200 v Hull £620 at Blackburn .Bluemoon has donatrd £500 & many individuals & Supporters Branches have sent donations straight to the family .Liverpool & Everton Fans Raised over £1,200 & gave the money straight to his wife .Many thanks everyone

got a good buzz doin the collection yesterday I was between 126 and 127 on tier one but decided to walk a bit as I was f'in freezing. Thanks to all who put in and good news that we managed to raise so much .Once again thanks to everybody who put in and to those who looked at us lie we were selling insurance or somethin hope it never happens to you or your loved ones!

i chucked a few quid in yesterday.

I've had a thought though. I dont know if the club do anything with the proceeds for the Thomas Cook Trophy game, but now we are minted, it may not be a bad idea to petition the club, in order to turn this game into a local charity event.

All ticket fees go to local charities or community projects. I'm certain a percentage of these games could go to tragic cases such as these where loyal fans are given a helping hand to get them back on their feet.

Cash to local hospices, youth clubs etc.

At a time when its vogue to have a pop at City, it would be nice to show yet again what a top club and a top support we really are.

Im certain there'd be quite a few clubs would give up their match fees, just to play us these days.

Any thoughts?

It is a great thought but it is a nightmare to get anything done with City .Nothing is straight forward or easy .but please feel free to contact them & se what they say (if you get a reply)
