Carl actually now works & Lives in Liverpool even though he is From Heywood & his Parents & Brother still live there .One of his mates in Liverpool runs a pub & he organised collections & even came over & helped out with the bucket collection

Hiya Everyone,
My pal Chris and I have just got back to Newcastle, having driven down to help out with the collection on Saturday. I'd like to pay testament to the generosity, goodwill and sympathy of everyone who helped us out.
The club ought to be proud of you all. We certainly are.
Special mention also to all the Boro fans who chipped in to help Carl out (and there were plenty).
Respect to Cyberblue and the team of volunteers who all did a fantastic job on the day.
I'll close with best wishes to Carl and his family. We're with you 100%, Blue.
