Which is all well and good but if a family have been living within their means now can’t shop how they could or even heat their homes like they used to what are they to do ?
Live within your means is a a good cliche, it was probably used a lot in Dickens time. Doesn’t mean people living in poverty is okay.

Yeah lets bring back workhouses, that’ll teach em to be poor. Explains why we have constant Tory governments. I used to be proud of our welfare system, how we took care of those left behind.
A selfishness has overtaken , I was going to say Britain, except I don’t think it is. It’s England or large parts of it.

Fucking hell mate, if people are having to pay 60% of their income on energy for no fault of their own, how do you suggest they do that. Fucking ridiculous comment.
