Well said that man. The other solution if you're worried about the weight is screw a wooden or metal rod to the wall. Then do 20 pull ups, if it holds its safe to put your tele there. If it doesn't you know it's not.Dont listen to the jobbing builders and DIY gurus on here, double sided tape works every time.

I believe you, not how I’d do it but…..Why would there be studs behind it? Will be dot and dabbed onto the blockwork.
