No, he was brutally beaten but nothing sexual was involved.
 
thought i'd jump in on the thread! i dont remember anything about batteries,but then again i bet a hell of a lot didnt go public, jack straw has to come clean on this one and this guy has to be prosecuted under his real name

Not from the report I read. Im guessing theres only 2 people who really knew what went on tho and they wouldnt say anything at the time and I doubt they will ever admit to the real reasons behind why they did what they did and what really happened

But this coming out since, perhaps shows one of the real reasons
 
as if systematically beating and torturing the kid wasn't bad enough, the coroner stated he was NOT dead when they left him, but died due to the train cutting him in half. the batteries were found nearby, along with an iron bar used to beat him, and it is a FACT, there was a lot of blood found on his underwear. why was he naked from the waist down, if nothing sexual was involved? We can all draw our own conclusions..... i just wish i could have 5 mins with either or both of them.

I just read somewhere (can't remember where, maybe Wikipedia) that he died before the train ran over him. The coroner said they couldn't pin point which blow/injury killed him, suggesting it was horrific and violent. But he died before the train cut him in half. Horrible.
 
The battery incident is neither here or there, though the report i read in 2001 insinuated sexual deviancy towards james.
Either way fact/fiction...... these two sick fucks were given a life they weren't entitled to.

from wiki(so dont know if true) "A forensic pathologist testified that he had died before he was struck by the train"
 
zin Zimmer and a few others I totally agree, these little fucks gave up all rights to a normal when they committed this PRE-PLANNED act.

I think the point, is that he wasn't exactly a paedophile before he went inside. Those lads were many things, but that isn't one of them. We can be 100% sure that they weren't paedophiles, simply because they shown during the Bulger murder that they had no switch that would stop them from doing anything that they wanted to. If they were paedophiles, they would have raped a kid back then. Since they didn't, it is logical to assume that Venables was made into a paedophile whilst inside.

I wouldn't be surprised considering he would have been on a protection wing inside, which is the domain of the paedos, thus associated with them regularly.

Hell, perhaps that is all wrong, and he just had the urge to look at kids being raped one day, I don't know. Who knows what goes on in a mind like his?

I've no idea how these things work but I'd seriously doubt that they'd chuck a kid in with all the paedo's
