Sorry

Saturday Lille v Bastia
Sunday Brondby v Aarhus
Monday IFK Gothenburg v AIK
Tuesday St Pauli v Hertha (Pokal)
Weds Inter v Torino (terrible mistake by Joe for their first but great save just before Torino equalised and nothing he could do about the late winner)
Thursday FC Zurich v St Gallen (Swiss Pokal)
Friday Borussia M v Eintrach Frankfurt (BM totally outplayed in first half and very susceptible to the high press I noticed)
Saturday Admira Wacker v Rapid Vienna
Sunday Slovan Bratislave v Podrbrezava

Brilliant, mate.

I bet you had a fantastic time.

Wow, that's a lot of travelling - even by my standards. Sounds great.

I'm keen to get to some of the places you've ticked off there too.

Yeah it was awesome - the best things were the unexpected ones like FC Zurich fans being complete maniacs and letting off so many flares the game was held up for 5 mins or that Admira Wacker have a full brass section behind the goal belting out songs for 90 mins. Can't say the quality of football was great but there were some amazing atmospheres.

As a thanks for all the advice re Hamburg and Moenchendgladbach, happy to reciprocate of course if you manage to get to any of them.

Good win for Hertha tonight; 3-0 against 'Gladbach.

Hat-trick for Saloman Kalou, including a cracking header for the first.

They're going well, but they started well last season and tailed off right at the end.

Hopefully they can keep it going this season. Would love to go back there with City next season.

I went to Berlin earlier this year, easy place to get around and the ground is ace.

Nagelsmann schooling Anci right now, using much weaker squad. Pressing in pep-style.

It is.

I went there a few times during the 2001/2 season; it hadn't been touched since the 1936 Olympics and it was, frankly, a bit of a tip. But now that it has been redeveloped, it's a great arena.

I love Berlin. It's a great city.

We were there on the same day that Suarez bit Ivanovic and City lost 3-1 at White Hart Lane.
Remarkably, whilst walking around the grass perimeter, we stumbled upon a cricket match, adjacent to the stadium.
It later transpired that northern Germany has it's own cricket league.
