He’s assuming you’re referring to your sister’s husband and dismissing the possibility that your wife has a brother.

Ah
I also don’t have a wife, it’s just easier to type brother-in-law than say it’s the other half’s brother

But to answer the question, he lives in Sophienstrasse

Sorry? I don’t have a sister. Have I missed something?

When innocent jokes go wrong. ;-)

The missus is Swiss (with many German family members) and it is often an interesting affair to discuss family titles, so when I saw your post I knew I might start this line of discussion, but I couldn’t help myself. :-)

@citykev28 early chance for you to watch Cologne, when they play their pre-season friendly at Southampton on 3rd of August ;-) . I'll be there!

It’ll take me longer to get to Southampton than to Köln from here!

The fly be prop planes do it in about an hour, but then you've got all the ball ache at mcr Airport to cope with. When City weren't on TV as much we do this for the Saturday 3pm kick offs from the island.

That's why two or three from this thread really would appreciate your effort then. Well, I took the gravy train option myself, flight and train, instead of going by car.

It’s football in your country that draws me. Your clubs know how to treat fans. We’re treated like mugs here. If you were playing a match in the North or even the midlands, I’d be tempted but Southampton is a 4 and a half hour drive from me.

Same here. And sorry, if it came across as if I was complaining, I wasn't. If Cologne played in say Spain, Italy or France, I wouldn't probably go, but I love England and chances to watch Cologne there again a rather slim.

I didn’t think you were complaining at all. What draws me to Germany is the atmosphere that some over here are too cool for, the league and clubs putting fans at number 1 and the whole scene it creates.

It’s difficult to explain how much I enjoyed my trip last October. If it wasn’t for City, I’d fuck English football off.
