Tbh I thought it was terrible and I’ve seen friendlys played with intensity. All leagues should be cancelled and work done to get next. Season up and running . All places should stay the same and Liverpool should be given the title which would mean they would have waited 30 years to enter a title where no one is bothered about

Impossible to do when you consider Charlton are in the relegation zone in the Championship but with a game in hand.

What did you expect? It is not just the playing without fans - the teams only had 10 days normal team training after 3 weeks staying fit and 3 weeks of training in groups with first 4 later maybe 6 or 7 players. Some teams did that great - some probably less.

And the situation for all is a new one!

I only watched 10-15 minutes but seemed like full contact but at a pre-season intensity, unless it was outside of the game in which case it was full PPE for staff, social distancing for the subs etc. it’s almost as if the white lines and the refs whistle offered some kind of atmospheric protection bubble that the virus couldn’t penetrate.

I like that ! The only save place from this virus is on a football pitch. I am of to mark out a little pitch in my garden with an old tin of gloss white.

Decided to rebrand my blog this evening. Originally The Bundesliga UK (yeah I know - it was from when I started talking about German football whilst at High School), I have renamed it "The Blue on the Danube" as a play on Strauss' famous song. For those of you that know me, hopefully you will be able to appreciate the significance. If not, it reflects my story as a City fan who fell in love with German football and a particular provincial Bavarian outfit who are based upon the famous river.
