Greedy Bayern dont offer free travel.
Nothing to with the distance Fans travel to a match

Suppose it's not relevant now (until we get Bayern in the group stage next season) but I've seen city fans get fined for not having train tickets from the airport to the city centre, trying to claim their match ticket covered the journey (the day before the game). Whether they actually believed that or were just trying to dodge the fine I'm not sure.

Are you allowed to you use an 1860 ticket?

Big weekend at both ends of the table. Frankfurt have Mainz tomorrow and Darmstadt next week. Big Derby games that will determine whether they stay up. Viel glück @Bembeltown

Expecting Hertha to get beat by Bayern. Hopefully Leverkusen and BMGB drop points this weekend too. I'd prefer Schalke and Hertha to qualify for top 4 - assuming City qualify too!

Does not have to do with being greedy because if it is offered it makes the tickets more expansive for everyone. It is nothing the club pays for.

It is a calculation and it is fine when it is a bargain fof a lot of people and not a big financial burden for many others. But if not many can profit from it and it costs too much for the ones that do not need it it does not make sense.

Just watched the Hamburg v Werber Bremen game and in the crowd was a half/half scarf - Manchester City / Hamburg 14-9-09 I think

Mathematically assured of Bundesliga football next season, and a great tifo to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reinheitsgebot to boot! Not a bad weekend, at all.

Here is my educated guess for the outcome of the season

1. Bayern München (if Pep wins only one title, he is a clown)
2. VFL Wolfsburg ( if De Bruyne stays)
3. Bayer Leverkusen ( as always satisfied too early)
4. Borussia Dortmund (Tuchel must have some problems, at least i hope so)
5. Schalke 04 (if Draxler stays)
6. Borussia Mönchengladbach (Champions League will hurt them)
7. VfB Stuttgart (surprise team for me this season)
8. 1. FC Köln ( sadly they have a good management now)
9. Werder Bremen (middle of nowhere)
10. FSV Mainz 05 (the same)
11. FC Augsburg ( pay the price for Euro League)
12. 1899 Hoffenheim (don´t rate their coach very high)
13. Eintracht Frankfurt (never good, when a coach comes back for a second time)
14. Hannover 96 (Michael Frontzeck, first to be sacked)
15. Hertha BSC ( Pal Dardai, next to be sacked)
16. Hamburger SV (laughing stock)
17. FC Ingolstadt (unless Audi pays more)
18. SV Darmstadt (every fairy tale must come to an end)

Some interesting predictions in here ;)

You seriously think with the problems they have right now finding seats for those oversold season passes at discounted rates it is a good idea to include a free bus ride á la Dortmund? Greedy? From an EPL fan? Really? :)

If i remember right, there was a time, when the train and bus companies had big problems with football fans not buying tickets or with the costs of destroyed trams and busses. So they had to find new ways of transporting football fans. And so the idea was born, that the football clubs have contracts with the companies and pay in advance and then include a free travel in the match ticket. That become especially popular in the Rhine and Ruhr Region with so many clubs and where there is network of different transport companies cooperating. That you can have a free train ride from Düsseldorf to Dortmund has more to do with the organization of public transport in that region than with the clubs. It is different in other parts of germany.

Hertha was my biggest error. Some others were not so bad, especially the "ifs"

500 years purity laws for german beer. Some fans really know, what football is all about

Hertha was probably all of our biggest errors. I don't think anyone could see how well they'd do.
