That thing on ZDF Sportstudio where they try to fire balls through rings, does it actually have a name?

"Torwandschiessen" :)

The event is called "Torwandschießen" - goalwall-shooting

The thing is called "Torwand" - goalwall

Anyone watching today?

7-0 Bayern Hamburger

Bayer Leverkusen fightback to even at 4-4 with Wolfsburg with 10 men...

Lots of stuff going on yesterday...

Leverkusen - Wolfsburg was just a sick game, Bayern trashed Hamburg and there was the big Rhein Derby between Gladbach and Cologne which Gladbach decided in minute 93.

Great tifo by Gladbach, lots of flares by Cologne at the start of the match and after halftime, unfortunately some Cologne "fans" invaded the pitch after Gladbach scored the goal.

In the evening we managed to beat Schalke 1-0 and even keep a clean sheet!! Which is not exactly common with Thomas Schaaf as the coach.

Great animated choreo to start the evening with as well...Guess that was the Ultra´s masterpiece so far in terms of difficulty

Perfect evening, perfect matchday! :)

Any of you officianado's of the Bundesliga know what the pitch invasion at Gladbach was all about? All those blokes in boiler suits. Just a bit of a laugh, or is there more to it?

it is not unusual, that on derby days the away fans wear all the same clothes. Köln vs. Gladbach is one of the worst derbies in germany when it comes to fans and Köln fans are famous for bad behaviour anyway.
Schalke fans were once wearing all blue shirts and white hats in Dortmund, looking like that belgian comic characters "the smurfs" (which is a nickname used against Schalke fans)

.... and you are Papa Smurf or what?

ha ha did you see that Gladbach fan give that koln fan a good few punches at the end, he didnt give a shit that the stewards and police were all round him, just carried on punching, serve the koln fan right but he will prob get a ban for that , well he would in england dont know what they do in germany.

The Cologne fan club who did that have had their license removed, and bans from the club are being considered. For those wondering it happened because they'd just conceded a last minute goal in their local derby.

I do not think it was only because of the result. They wanted to cause trouble. Cologne has some terrible sort of fans and just has problems to deal with them. A right wing fanbase like Dortmund, too.

You can really tell the difference between the political beliefs of each fangroup/ultras. Bayern and St. Pauli are left wing obviously, I know my own Schanzer are left wing too.

Most of the old East Germany tend to be Right Wing, Dynamo, Hansa them sort of teams. I'd be interested to see what clubs like Stuttgart and Schalke are.

Mainz have sacked the head coach kasper hjulmand this morning and appointed under 23 coach Martin Schmidt is the right move to put an inexperienced man in charge with the team only 2 points above relegation.
