Not strictly on point but I am looking at doing a European footie trip with my sons later in the year with the aim of fitting in as many countries as possible. Does anyone know if there is a website that lists fixtures in major leagues by date so I don't have to try and collate 10 lists? Thanks

I use this site http://uk.soccerway.com/ but be mindful that La Liga and Serie A haven't announced their fixtures yet and some countries leave it very late to change fixtures for tv. Spain is particularly bad for making changes at short notice. If you're trying to maximise the number of countries/games I'd suggest doing it on a Champions League week.

No games on Friday as far as Easter weekend is concerned.

Thats not what I wanted to hear, but thanks.

I'm probably doing Aue away in the Pokal as it stands, and popping down to Augsburg from the derby with Schanzer Amateure.

Good day concerning Ingolstadt yesterday, really pleased with the Leipertz signing. He was great with Heidenheim last season and looks like a good fit with Kauczinski's preferred system. Kitten I'm not so sure about, it all depends if he can stay fit. @Bembeltown what's your opinion on this, after all he was with you for something like seventeen years.

@cptaidan88: I was thinking Juve, but now that you mention Newcastle it is most likely the better comparison. I think I dont really like the kit as we never ever played in black and white home kits. Always used to be red and black. :(

@Alex-MCFC: I think you are talking about Kittel and not Kitten. ;) He is young and talented thats for sure, however he had a horrible injury record. If he manages to stay fit he should definitely be able to help you. I personally would have liked to see him stay in Frankfurt.

On the subject of kits.
What colours were Eintracht wearing in the famous 1960 European Cup Final?
It looks like white sleeves, so was it Arsenal red, or Sheffield Wednesday circa 1960s blue?

I’m hoping for an October trip, but everything depends on our success or failure in the Champions League play off round, and the subsequent european draw.

I also need to tick-off Darmstadt and Leipzig, but still haven’t done Hoffenheim. In fact, at this rate,I’m going to complete the Bundesliga 2nd Division grounds quicker than the 1st.

@Bembeltown It just doesn't look right! Its not Newcastle - its Grimsby Town.

A lot of City fans moaning about ours too. I don't think ours is a terrible kit, but it just doesn't look like we're Manchester City, and yours doesn't look like Eintracht Frankfurt.

Yeah it will take some time to get used to...the back looks really shit as well. Just a white area where the number goes, so the stripes are interrupted.

In the end it doesnt really bother me that much. I dont buy the kits anyway, but it would still be nice to look somewhat decent in the pitch. Last seasons away kit was a beauty and it was the first I bought since 94 or so.

I read the comments about the City shirt and I dont think it is as bad as people say. You are right that it somehow doesnt look like City, but I have seen worse. Not sure if this is a popular opinion but I like the old school badge a lot better as well.
I always wondered how City swapped from the Rose/Ship Crest to an eagle, but maybe its just me that I am missing some background information on the link between City/Manchester and an eagle?
