Who would you prefer to win the play-off? Stuttgart or Hamburg?
Both are essential for the Bundesliga, however I personally want Hamburg to suffer BuLi 2 for as long as possible just because of that stupid clock that they put up to indicate the amount of years they have been in BuLi1. Stuttgart is much closer as well in terms of away games.

Nothing like the Dortmund we saw at our place and this may well go down as their worst home performance of the season against what was a very mediocre Mainz side. Borussia had plenty of the ball and applied pressure in the second half but had no cutting edge. A great crowd of 81 000 but a pity they had to see Munich win their eleventh successive title.
Nice to see the 50+1 model making this league competitive

Stuttgart completely trashing HSV in the first play off game and taking a comfortable 3-0 lead in the series.

It's incredible how HSV took pride in being the longest standing BuLi1 team for 55 years and since they dropped to BuLi2 it seems like the can't get up again.

The psychological blow of what happened so late in the game at the weekend was compounded by Stuttgart scoring so early last night. They made a better fist of it in the second half but they’ll know it’s yet another year in Bundesliga 2.

With Hertha, Schalke, and Hamburg all battling for two automatic promotion spots, the chances are that someone is going to miss out again next season, too.

It took years to relegate Hamburg, now they keep bottling it towards the end of the season . Luck has certainly run out.

Used cup final for us, lost 2-0 against the rats, but hey If I would define my locality to Eintracht by winning titles I would have started supporting another club a loooooong time ago. :-)

Around 40 to 50000 Frankfurt Fans in the Olympiastadium. Freiburg and VFB Stuttgart fans selling their final tickets to Frankfurt fans (and to Frankfurt Fans only to keep as many Leipzig fans out as possible). Frankfurt Fans getting tickets via Leipzig for their organized bus travel, driving by car to pick up tickets in Leipzig and from there on onwards to Berlin again. Got to do what you got to do...

The Fan shop selling the official jerseys (sorry if kit is the right word, I never get the English or US Version right) got a small makeover. Guess the Leipzig side of the window.

Other than that this sticker made me chuckle:

"Pretty ugly here, but have you ever been to Offenbach? The best thing about Offenbach is the view you have on Frankfurt"

Offenbach is just across the river from Frankfurt and our arch rival (Kickers Offenbach).

That's the end of the season for us, I wish everyone a great summer and a successful 2023/2024 season.

Will keep my fingers crossed for the CL final for all the awesome City fans I had the pleasure to meet in "Real life" via the forum.

And one more from the choreos and pyro...

First picture is our mascot holding our trophies (2 European cups, 5 German cups and one league title)

Second banner shows key moments of those victories. Unfortunately very hard to see due to the angle.
FB_IMG_1685962909076.jpg

Banner in the Pyro picture says "Football terror in the final" which is a rewritten verse of one of our songs which starts with ""Football terror and riots, SGE again and again".

In actually rhymes in German and makes more sense than my horrible translation attempts.

All the banners have been hand painted not bought, everything financed by the fans, no money from the club or sponsors.

Eagle looking very Holy Roman Empire-esque.
