Whatever happens in the two finals we should be immensely proud of our manager and team this season, the premier league to call us out as dirty cheats halfway through the season was bang out of order, designed to destroy our season and get our manager to walk and players to down tools. It galvanized the club and support like never before and we stand on the cusp of their worst nightmare.

the media witch will be in full flow next week

Look around the leagues a bit. Bayern champions for the umpteenth time. Benfica champions for the umpteenth time. Italy is an exception, and it's nice to see someone other than Juventus win it, but didn't they do eight in a row only recently? P.S.G. now eleven titles to their name since last night. In Spain, two teams exchange the title between them from year to year, and it's been that way for decades. An occasional scrap is thrown from the table to Atlético.
And people are getting in a tizzy and hate us because we've won three in a row?

I would assume it's not because of three in a row but because it's 5 out of 6 with

I think people are not upset about 3 in a row but because it's 5 out of 6 in the last years.

And City's dominance will most likely continue for the foreseeable future. If City don't win the League in the foreseeable future I would assume it's not because other teams are better it's because City can't be arsed/implode for whatever reason. Just like Dortmund only got "allowed" to be in the title race because Bayern let them.

4 last day title wins since we were founded 15 years ago, no last day heartbreaks. The balance of probability suggests that, at some stage, we will have to face it.

Frankly, I think we've got heartbreak credit in the bank: Luton, Stoke, to name just those two. Then there is the theatre of base comedy of winning the league and being relegated the following season.
But you're right. It will happen. And I'll accept it, as I always have done. You win some, you lose some — as in life. Only in a raggish frame of mind are you outraged about not winning everything going, all the time.

This got a mention previously. Thought it would have been more common. Initially couldnt find any, but since found one, and a half.

Daniel Amartey won the Danish Superliga with FC Copenhagen and the Premier League within Leicester.

David Beckham won the MLS and Ligue1 with PSG, although that was as much to do with the timing of the US league.
Cancello the first to do it in real football then ;-)

Average away numbers for this season:

1. Schalke: 7182 with 15000 at Hoffenheim
2. Bremen: 6488 with 25000 at Hertha
3. Dortmund: 5912 with 14000 at Hertha
4. Bayern: 5832
5. Frankfurt: 5318 with 12000 at Hoffenheim
6. Cologne: 5135
7. Gladbach: 4724
8. Stuttgart: 4462

Hamburg should actually be 3rd with 6000 away fans on average, but we don't factor in Buli 2 teams. ;-)

Who would you prefer to win the play-off? Stuttgart or Hamburg?
