Bundesliga Thread - 2023/24

so when do Bayern win it this year? January, Feb?
Well they are 7 points behind Leverkusen though with a game in hand so it's going to take longer this time, wouldn't be surprised if it's only decided in the last few games but I'm expecting Leverkusen to bottle it.

Worrying noises coming from the press on Schalke. Unlikely to get a licence to compete in 3 Liga if they were relegated due to the level of debt they have. One place above the relegation zone at the moment but fans understandably nervous.

Might potentially mean starting over from scratch although I don't know exactly what that means. Similar thing happened to 1860 a few years ago and they had to start from Regionaliga, the level below 3 Liga but there are levels below that.

They were my first proper European away game so I have always had a soft spot for them. Hope they stay up, sort themselves out and get back into the Bundesliga asap.

Was watching highlights of the Dortmund match and the crowd are tossing in chocolate coins and tennis balls.
Commentator said that all Bundesliga matches will have a similar protest.
Any idea what its all about?

It's to do with foreign investment i think in regards to TV and other sponsorships. I'm really not sure of the ins and outs of it but I think fans are generally very very against it and hence they are all protesting in some shape or form.

eric dier will start for bayern in a super important game against leverkusen. what a time to be alive!
