Have De Bruyne and Alvarez ever played together before as the 8s? Unlike us to not have a controller in one of the 8 positions, unless Alvarez is shunted out wide and Bernardo’s in the middle but it seems unlikely as Alvarez hasn’t been seen as a wide player at all so far. I don’t actually remember them both playing as the 8s before but maybe my memory is bad.

Go long to Haaland and have Alvarez and kdb playing off him. Or just stick gvardiol in midfield -:)

Hoping this is his season.

Pre-World Cup him and Haaland were playing well together in that front 3.

It's a huge season for him. He ended last season well, hopefully that carries over into this campaign.
