You've missed the fact that Arsenal don't score a lot of goals and rely on set pieces. Which have dried up.

Tell the truth for fucks sake. You’re gutted. Genuinely, positively, gutted that we won and go top of the league.
Your script was written before kick off. And you’re gutted that you don’t get to moan about dropped points. You’re angry that we win a tough game.
 
3 points. Top of the league. A few of those chances we missed go in on another night. Just one of those games. I don't expect the league to go down to goal difference, but would have been a nice cushion all the same.
 
Not the best performance but Burnley defended very well. Just nice we got the goal early on and now.... TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

get Southampton game out the way (with a hopeful win) and we go again! Up the cityzens!

Really never have understood this narrative. We could play worse at Everton and win 3-0. Football is not an exact science and never will be, you can never know how the ball will bounce, how often a defender will get a foot in, if a keeper will play a blinder or if every other shot gets deflected, whether the opposition will play like it's their cup final or whether they'll be crap or a thousand other variations. It's called football.

Doesn’t have to be either. Tell you what though, if that’s Arsenal, Dips or Rags, in the same position, they’re being lauded by the media as having ’found a way to win’.
When it comes to City, they win but ‘they must do better’, ffs. I sort of get the media saying that but City fans, on this forum? It’s fucking bollocks…

That's not really true, we had enough chances to win three games, that's a big frustration of course, but from the moment we took the lead, everything looked all a bit casual, that's something "wrong with the performance", we played like it was a friendly after going in front, but mentally that might be about the difficult game on Sunday, mentally that was pretty tough, right to the end of added time.
 
Burnley fans must be looking at that performance and thinking where has this been all season , i would feel cheated as a Burnley fan watching my team turn up once a season,and thats down to the manager , Parker is just a well dressed Championship manager.

So true but just before that the lady interviewer sort of bollocked Pep for looking at the highlights , he accepted it, looked at her for 30 seconds and then kept checking the highlights. That’s why we are top of the league.

1-0 wins will do fine, they won't win all their matches. On current form they don't look like winning any of them.

That’s the thing, we have 5 other games to get our GD up and if Arsenal drop any points (or they lose and we draw etc.) it might not even matter anyway.

We could twat Palace 6-0 at the Etihad.

We've conceded 1 goal in 5 games. Dispatched Arsenal (x2), Liverpool and Chelsea. Playing brilliantly in all games. Tonight we won away to go top of the league for the first time in 200 days. And could win the league title. Yet, you feel flat?

Make it make sense. Haha
