Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

Taking off Sterling isitheiworst decision Pep has made all season..
His miss was a disgrace but hes still capable of winning the game for us. Bernardo isnt able to out wide and Diaz isnt very impressive at all
I would have kept sterling on too. Bernardo was offering little. Put sterling on the right and give him a chance to redeem himself.

Wasteful but what annoys me is thst we gave their player too long to play the pass that set up their goal and were too deep. Tiredness may be mitigating factor.

He had his 'arm round the shoulder' moment last match after he missed a sitter.

This miss was worse and he deserved a bollocking to go with the sub.
Bollocks, that sub cost us the game.

Well you shouldn't, they'll be far tougher away games than this. We were in a great position to exert pressure on the rags before they played. Sickening result in all fairness.
sickening? fuck me

name the harder away games then. cos we've already played chelsea, united and liverpool. Arsenal? Tottenham? any others?

Walker was trash, Gundogan was trash, Bernardo was trash, Aguero was trash, Sterling was trash, but yeah, blame it on Diaz
Don’t think gundogan was trash he created chances opened up space just was missing that final end product. Wouldn’t say trash. Bernardo too

Trying hard not to over react but if David Silva does not play then anything can happen and it did today. Ederson was brilliant, Kompany wasn’t. In my opinion it was wrong to take off Sterling even though he was having a stinker. He was keeping the Burnley defenders busy way out on the left. When he went off, Burnley went 20 yards further up and the result was......
If he had to go , we should have put on Laporte to shore up what was a poor defense
