It's not Sterlings fault he played in a position he is hopeless in, I just hope his head is not fucked, if that chance had come on the right side the game would be won, 6 subs and we are having a holiday,

Architects of our own downfall today. Decision making, final ball and finishing well below par. Some of our players need 3 and 4 touches before shooting instead of a first time finish when the opportunity presents itself.

Burnley didn't really deserve anything today but ultimately we got what we deserved.

You’re right with this, it’s unnecessary. Maybe PM @Ric to see if he’ll allow the thread to stay open for a few more minutes to allow everyone to catch up and read the end of the thread.

The main reason we move it is to ease the load on the server, to try and prevent the site crashing straight after games.

Gundogan played well apart from in the box & then his legs went.

Sterling might have scored a lot of goals but fuck me he misses some chances.

Cost us the game

If he scored all the easy chances he misses he'd be a 70 goal a season player. I don't think he cost us the game though. Everybody in the stadium & watching on TV could see us getting dominated & that goal coming bar Pep. He could have brought on another defender, Sergio went missing again in the second half and should have been taken off & replaced with a midfielder or a defender. Pep is a fantastic manager & his tactics are brilliant but today he dropped us the 2 points not changing it up when we needed it.

didnt have a real chance at all in front of goal (sterling got in his way for the one in the second half)

Not converting your chances is going to punish you, thats what happened today again.

After 1-0 up we had other great chances but we missed all of them, most of them were blocked shots or just weak shots that didnt trouble their keeper. Sterling missed the biggest of them, awful miss which gave Burnley extra motivation for sure.

We have hardly any options to change the top 3 which is criminal I blame Txiki for having only 2 strikers in a 25 man squad. Thats not enough. Just because Alexis or Mahrez deal he couldnt get doesnt mean a cheaper option couldnt have been done even only on loan for six months. Fucking hell even a 40 year old David Villa on lon for 3 months is a better option imo than 6 subs on the bench.

Diaz today had hardly any good touches he is young without experience. For next two-three weeks he is our only option from bench. What if Kun gets an injury too tho? Luckily this season he avoided injuries compared to last two seasons.

Truth, in my opinion.

Vinny prevents us playing our natural game because he can't pass and makes Walker nervous.

That last twenty minutes came about because Pep spat his dummy out when Sterling somehow missed.

We stopped working from the front and Sergio is nowhere near what we need as a team these days.

Agree with wrong Pep decision but not Vinny or Aguero

There are positives to take form the match...

Danilo stopped up when needed, provided a goal and defended well.
Gundogan looked generally good in midfield, if not a little wasteful at times.
Ederson is a very good keeper and outfield player, it turns out, testified to by Burnley’s complete lack of interest in pressing him when he got the ball.

Well I think so.

People can't wait to jump on Sergio and where would we be without his goals. Jesus hasn't scored forages even before his injury.

Kompany is now fourth choice and rusty but still our leader and we know can play better.

I think Komps is finished personally,he doesnt have the tools or,understandably,the confidence he used to.This wasnt a great game for him to start.

Aguero isnt a team player,he doesnt appear to be on the same wavelength much of the time and his workrate just isn't enough.Jesus,irrespective of goals,keeps defenders on the back foot and constantly brings others into play.
