Burnley (A) Post-Match Thread

26 pages tells you we won comfortably.

You would think those who manage to fill nearly 200 pages after we get beat could be arsed to at least come on and say well played wouldn't you?

There isn't a lot to discuss after a routine win which was expected against a depleted Burnley side. These sort of games tell us nothing really as we aren't overly stretched. It is how we cope with better quality sides like Leicester, Wolves etcetera that expose faults and make for discussion.

Mahrez is an absolute waste of space, doesn't track back, has no pace and only passes if there's no way he can shoot. What pep sees in him is baffling, and too think we let go sane is just incredible
We didn’t "let Sané go".

He wanted to leave and wouldn't sign a new contract.

I'm still waiting for you to back up your post from the other day, saying he hasn't got a pass in him and that he's a one trick pony.

@thesting if you aren't a wum you should be replying with lots of stats to shoot me down.

I doubt if its to do with stats. Mahrez is the chosen one.
Some fans have a default position of finding what they believe to be the weakest link and firing shots in that direction.
Even when we won the unique treble, it was the same. It is just the pyschology for some, it is how they make sense of a big picture.
