Much better performance tonight. Glad that Laporte survived the assault from Barnes and went on to get 90mins under his belt. Surprised that Delap didn't start or even come on as sub. Maybe being saved for Leeds at the weekend. Though it was also nice to see another young 'un play and not look out of place. Well dome Cole Palmer.

Great performance but yet again we get referees differently to any other team Sterling breathes of a Burnley player it’s a foul Sterling tries to hold the ball turn while arms around him goes down its play on! What’s going on it’s fucking outrageous I’m sick of it and the player probably more why B Silva got a yellow late on as well.

It’s that he has no urgency that winds me up, he never gives 100%. Too laid back. Maybe that’s just the way he is, but not good enough for me.

He tried to take their player out when they were breaking on us about 3 mins before the booking, he missed their player, but it was the first time the ball had gone dead since the attempted challenge.

It was a deserved yellow, although that said I’ve lost count of the number of times it happens against us and then the ref doesn’t book the opposition player.
