A 3rd goal might have done the trick, but all it needed was them nicking one and suddenly the crowd gets involved and City are hanging on with long balls being punted into the box from everywhere!Well I was pleasantly surprised at how easy that was. Would have liked to see Rodri replaced by Fernandinho after 65 mins to give him a rest after a busy international break. Still, beggars can't be choosers.
The 3rd goal in football is the killer, and often leads to a 4th! That’s why Pep’s City have scored 4 or more 80 times. And, I’d bet at least half of those have been after the 85th minute when teams have basically given up the ghost and are simply sick of chasing shadows!
If we could get a 3rd goal by the 60-70th minute, I think you’d see far more Pep substitutions.
