Watched full match again. Hate the fkrs and their manager even more. Hope they go down. My mother rest her soul and family came from Burnley. Use to go to Turf Less as a kid. Had some players back in the 70s. Followed their ups and downs including nearly going out of the league altogether. But my nostalgia does not blind me to them being a shit house of a team and club.

Moss SHOULD have seen the elbow for what it was; a premeditated elbow to the neck. The Burnley thug lined him up a couple of seconds before the contact, and if you look at his elbows as he jumped they weren't level which is a totally unnatural position.
He meant it, and he was deliberately trying to injure an opponent. If that happens on a Friday night in town it's assault.

solid show, great build up for next 3 big games, strolled it and warmed up...
first half atmosphere for a big game three points ? Was like an end of season game. Still the bar was more important for quite a few.
