------------
Ederson
Danilo Stones Mangala Delph
-------------Toure
------Gundogan -Silva
-Bernardo Aguero----Sane

Bravo, Adarabioyo, Zinchenko, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Sterling, Brahim
  • Given it's Burnley I'd play Ederson rather than handicapping ourselves on high balls with Bravo.
  • Stones needs minutes
  • Silva may need some minutes too (assuming he's available)
  • Assuming Kompany is injured / will start vs BristolC

I know there isn’t much we as fans can do, but couldn’t we all get a chant going in support of little Mateo, and the Silva family, at the Burnley match on Saturday. I know David probably won’t play, or even be in this country, when the game is played, but hopefully he’ll hear it, and realise just how much every blue out there is rooting for the little guy

They have no need to focus on the league. They can’t win it or go down and they are firmly in the position of the top 10.

the could quite easily lose a run of games and be out of the top ten. id imagine they want to finish as high as possible in the league. also dyche often makes changes in cup games. pretty much every team makes changes in the cup now as well

Strong team but rests Kevin, Sergio, Walker and Nico.

So what would you feel like if.
Weakened team v Burnley and get beat.
Weakened team v Bristol and get beat.
Strong team v Liverpool and get beat.
Let the Liverpool game take care of itself and play strong teams in both cup ties.
