Surely it makes sense to go relatively strong in this one, rest who needs a rest v Bristol knowing we always have the 2nd leg and players fresh then for the Scouse.

Anyway. Can anyone tell me what stands Burnley have been allocated? Is it just the whole upper tier of the South?

Level 2 of SS too I think

yaya in defence?

Burnley will play 1 up front out of Vokes, Barnes or Wood. Even at 34 Yaya would beat those in a foot race. He can just sit back and ping passes without slowing us down in midfield like he has been doing. The other option is Mangala but I remember a 2-2 a few seasons ago when Barnes had the beating of him in the air every time so he's moved to left back. Adarabioyo + Toure will be enough to keep a clean sheet against the aerial bombardment.

Have you seen yaya get off the ground this season... he’s the last person we would need in an aerial defensive bombardment!

Wood is injured I believe. No matter how slow Barnes or Vokes may be, they would breeze past Yaya.

lol sorry

Bravo
Stones Kompany Mangala
Danilo BSilva Yaya Gundogan Zinchenko
Sterling Aguero

lol probability factor of 1%

Positives to take if we win or lose this one but a draw would be problematic. Would it be unsportsmanlike if, with the scores at 0-0 deep into injury time, Bravo fake-fumbled a backpass into his own net?
There are zero positives in defeat. Not one. Fewer games would mean fewer trophies. Take each game at a time, go strong, go for the win. Fuck worrying about what could be happening down the line.
