The most frustrating thing on this forum is not the flappers in the match day threads (that i can understand as they struggle through stress and pressure), it's the "I told you so's" in the post match threads that drone on and on and waste my time.
Pm the flapping pricks if you don't like what they say, just leave it out of the post match thread.
P.s. this is not aimed directly at you, btw. No offence, but I'm getting tired of the post-match threads being filled with the same garbage as the in-match thread.
A moaning **** is a moaning **** no matter which thread he posts in. Can you all just knock it off, pretty please?

As most of the football world realise, the drop off last season was due to a long and chronic injury list (can't believe after all this time I'm STILL having to point that out), and since then we've brough in a lot of new players and still have a lot of big name injuries and players just coming back. Yet we still managed 3rd place and a cup final when even with a few matches to go most on here were saying we wouldn't make CL qualification.

Problem is you lot never learn and it's depressing to keep reading it in the one period in our 130+ year history where we have dominated the league and broken all kinds of records.

Another that take criticism too personally.
Yes there were injuries- and the players coming in were well off the pace. Your hero included - unforgivably though lack of supportive effort too.
But he's playing well now hes finally caught on. What more do you want? Erase his last 2 seasons?
 
Great win. Can anyone a bit smarter than me on tactics tell me ,why our pressing isnt working as well as it used to? Is it because of the players, Pep has changed it or other teams have found out how to deal with it better? Probably a bit of all 3.

The club seems to disagree with you about Savinho, apparently he’s not far off agreeing a contract extension.

Brilliant post. Sick and tired of these posts from idiots who think we "can't catch Liverpool", a team who have only just scraped past not just Burnley but EVERY team they have played so far. Only the Everton match that I can remember was one where they haven't needed a late to last minute goal to win it and their late goal couldn't even save them today.

Yet the same people are saying we weren't that good despite winning 5-1 while the team "we have no chance of catching" only scrape past them with a late penalty. That team wouldn't have caught us in any of the 6 tile-winning seasons with their final total last season and I've seen nothing to suggest they will do any better this season, but hey ho, we've no chance of making up 8 points in 33 matches have we, with only 99 to play for (i.e. before today's results).
 
Happy as fuck that Doku is proving me wrong, he's been fantastic this season.
I hope Savinho proves me wrong too

I hope we get a great right winger next summer ,cause it seems that Savinho isnt going to make it ,but hopefully im wrong.

5 goals from which Burnley scored two and gifted another one. Against Arsenal we were far better and impressive. Pep put out a weakened team and was vindicated by the result. We got Rodri to rest, but this performance like Wolves was far from the scoreline.

Even allowing for some games where he has been poor (but not alone) I think we could see that given a little bit more time he could do a worthwhile job for us.
Personally I`m delighted for the lad.

Totally agree, but he wasn't doing badly before, he was going past 2-3 defenders 9 times out of 10 then had nobody to cross to and was getting criticised for it. I genuinely think now he's decided to have a go himself a lot more often, probably at least partly been encouraged to by the coaching team but he wasn't getting the support before.
