Can't ask for much more. Would like to have seen better from Savinho, but oh my Doku is on fire.

We were pretty much in total control. I thought Gonzalez was good today and Reijnders will be too when he gets used to the pace and power of the PL.
 
A slightly weird game; still plenty of improvement to come, but you can’t argue with 5, even if the oppo scored half of them.
Progress is being made. Doku MoM again.
 
There's a lot of goals in us again. Doku looks like a different player and I've never been so happy to be wrong.
 
One day i'll figure out why Nunes breaks so many of our fans' brains that they can't evaluate his performances on their merit. Maybe it's his face, it is quite annoying to be fair. Maybe it's just needing someone to blame and not feeling like blaming homegrown players who look worse. But it's right on cue, every single week, as soon as the result is bad, some people look for someone to blame and it's always him

Doku Motm… unplayable today. Erling brilliant last 20 mins.

Foden good again and the 2 Nicos were quietly excellent again!

Savio was absolute dog dirt again, Nunes was poor for the goal but was chuffed for him to get his goal.

And I’m still not sure on Judge Reijinders yet. Thought he was poor again. Very anonymous.

But 5-1, I’ll take that!!
 
Great result! I expected before kick off, then was really pissed off at half time, but we got there in the end.

Doku and Nunes, fantastic! Two more goals for the big man.

Wonderful results today!

I think the thing in midfield is to play Gonzalez and Rodri behind Doku.

Instead of playing Rodri behind Reijnders and Foden.

Both good players but imo not as threatening as Doku would be by himself.

Just my opinion.

I look at it differently. The Matchday Thread is a bit of fun. Some people do vent when things aren't going well, however when I had my season ticket up to 3 years ago I'd hear some strange stuff from matchday Blues as well. As for your comment about people bemoaning the takeover - God only knows where you get that from on the Matchday Thread.
 
Fuck off.

All you morons who think we're not good enough, that keep slating Doku, that want Nunez out, that want Pep out, that think we can't catch Liverpool because they won't lose and we're not good enough, just do one and let the rest of us enjoy the greatest period in our history as it CONTINUES.
