Burnley (h) pre-match thread

People are going to lose their shit again when the manager very sensibly rotates heavily.

I'm pretty sure 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 was the plan all along but the injuries to Kompany and inability to secure Laporte or Bonucci have taken their toll

It won't last long, and neither will you ;o)
Looking at some of the Matchday Threads I'd probably be able to retire on the proceeds. In fact, it would be guaranteed if I put 'Pep and Bravo Out'!

5th now. 6th in the not to distant future if we keep playing like we have been.

I can see where you're coming from, but I still believe it will all click, and someone is going to get a pasting. We are heading in the right direction I have no doubt about that. Hopefully 3 points tomorrow, but Burnley are a solid aggresive side that will run as a team 2 miles further than us.

We have to win this game end of!! Come on City.

I'd go 352.

Gets Nacho and Kun on the pitch together and our full backs are wank anyway.

I agree with the idea.

But, we don't have the necessary players to make it work. We still end up with a poor full back playing as a centre half.

Plus we don't have the required wingbacks to make it work either.

I'd like to see us go back to the inverted fullback that we saw at the start. Not sure why we haven't seen that for a while.

I really hope so. But going forward we are currently dire. So slow, with passing for passing's sake. No one gets into the box, no running at the opposition, a lack of shots etc. I had though Watford and Arsenal were finally an improvement - Then along came the first 70 mins of the Hull game and then Liverpool.

Any sort of win will do tomorrow. Burnley are in decentish form and these matches with a ridiculously short turn around can be a lottery

A pretty good side to be facing when you need a pick me up after a poor result.

Would be nice to think we record a good thumping home victory and instill a bit of confidence into the side.
