Kind of human nature I suppose, but the more City win, the more the certainty they must be about to lose.

Arsenal fans in 2003/4 must have been in a state of panic every week.

Could you imagine the match day thread on here if we were in the same boat?! haha

25/1 for the Burnley win are insane odds, regardless of how well we are playing.

Yes, ridiculous in a two horse race. Even discounting that they might win anyway, you've only got to have a City red card and that's more frequent than 1 1/2 times a season.

Especially when you factor in their last four away results: winning at Goodison, drawing at Spurs and Liverpool, and winning at Stamford Bridge.

This is one of those games that could be the one that sends the media into meltdown if we lose. You can just see the headlines!
Pep found out etc etc.

Our ability to move the ball forward quickly in tight areas is the key, most of all we NEED to convert the chances we make against Burnley, as they will not give us many, we all know they are going to pack the edge of their box aka Claret Bus! Our job is to prove that tactic no longer works with teams like us. Draw them out and use the killer passes. Hopefully Leroy will be on his game as he had a poor showing v Napoli.
We need to prove to the rest of the league, that putting 7 past Stoke can be a regular occurrence.
3-1 to City.

Am sure Stoke were 20/1 for the win & only 500/1 to beat us 10-0..very strange odds indeed..

Their results to date are based on resolute defending. They will be able to offer nothing going forward and subsequently will be unable to resist our attack for 90 minutes. 3,4 or 5 nil is my prediction, and that is not over confidence but rather application of basic intelligence.

It certainly is a game for Aguero to start as he is physically stronger than Jesus and was superb carrying the line last season when we won with just 10 men. If he does start tomorrow I believe it will be the day he breaks the record.

Spot on. Regardless of Burnley winning at ten-man Chelsea, being three goals to the good, Conte's team did wake up in the second half and absolutely deserved something from the game, it was backs-to-the-wall stuff right through.

Same goes for their points at Liverpool, the keeper had a worldly, and Spurs, where they scored very late on.

It's not the questions posed at the other end we have to worry about.

Then we must ask ourselves the question, are we a better attacking unit than those three teams?

Burnley are fucked if we score early, they will attempt to disrupt our rhythm, slow it down, gets their banks in, and hold on for as long as possible.

Go for goals, relentlessly, everything else will take care of itself.

Wonder if the speculation around Dyche is being used as a force for good, or it has unsettled the team.
