Etihad oasis shimmers on the horizon. Three long weeks behind us. The prospect of City, Raheem, and de Bruyne awaits.

EDERSON
WALKER VINNY LAPORTE MENDY
MERLIN BERNADO DE BRUYNE
STERLING AGUERO SANE

FODEN ON FOR DE BRYUNE AT 60 MINS
JESUS ON FOR SILVA ON 70 MINS
MARHREZ ON FOR A LAST MINUTE PENALTY

Cannot bloody wait.

My Saturday looks like this - Park Run in am, Swim, In Town about 11.30, Meal and all that jazz, Match, off to pictures to watch that lada gaga thing, promise from mrs ww.

I think it is perfect! Providing we win. If we don't Mrs WW can go without.

I would love Foden to start on Saturday. With Bernardo Ferdy and Silva beside him. Sane and Sterling out wide with Sergio in the middle.. 4 at the back Stones Laporte Walker and Mendy. I'm still rubbing my hands at the thought of Mendy AND Sane getting a good understanding together..imagine them running at a right back at the same time? ? But coming back to Foden, I'd love to see him smack centre in the middle just in front of Ferdy and bossing proceedings, that would mean more than most things I see in blue. CTID

Is that the one with Russian subtitles?

I told you not to put my pic on the internet
It does feel 84yrs though

Seriously. I never try to pick a team. I do not know the goggles, private life stuff, tiredness levels.

So I just go and enjoy the dish serves before me.

I do believe in rotation, and that is made easy by every player in the squad being of the required level.

Yeah, agree with that. That's why mahrez was crucial, in my opinion. There will be less of a risk of facing a situation similar to the one in early 2018 where Jesus was injured and an Aguero injury would have meant trouble.

I thought referees counted the number of players on the team though.

Or perhaps we wouldn't need a keeper.

Walker Stones Laporte Delph
Fernandinho
Bernardo DeBruyne Silva
Aguero Jesus

Hate playing games like this. I'm not worried we won't win, but it will just be a shit game of football where I spend half the game annoyed at the referee as he ignores their attempts to cripple our players

VAR should help fix that when it comes in because it is ridiculous that malicious tackles are ignored. The match against Cardiff last year, or the one against Tottenham at home come to mind.

VAR won't do jack shit. It will overturn a few offsides, but beyond that the referees will continue to use their "discretion" when making decisions

That's true, but I was talking about the dangerous tackles. You get one or two every few weeks which could result in a season-ending injury. I think that those - because they should result in red cards - will go to VAR. If a referee misses a challenge which has the entire crowd gasping and After which the opposition team is accusing the tackler of going with studs, VAR will be consulted.

Not if the ref has shown a yellow
