Epic disaster today.
Absolute disaster only 3 points to show for it
Epic disaster today.
Nearly put my iPad through the TV screen.
Because the grievers do, so it must be right...I have never understood this jump on the bandwagon mentally of booing him, I bet half the inbred fuckwitts done even know why they're doing it
I read "Massive" disaster today ;)Epic disaster today.
For the first time today, im also scratching my head a little at the selection and rotation and the second half that was crying out for Merlin imo but never saw him.
When he arrived we all knew he was unconventional and would make us think wtf at times so it shouldnt come as a huge surprise.
he gambled today but he won that gamble and thats all that matters as he knows what he is doing.
maybe because Pep sees Fernardhino as the most unreplaceable player in that area of the field?
Last season, 7 away games won. This season, 6 away games won already.
We've only played 7.
The only selection surprise for me was no Stones and, on reflection, that was not such a big surprise. I thought he picked the right team for this game.
I must say though that I wanted Silva on towards the end to help put his foot on the ball but Pep went with Navas' running.
Concerned about keeping him sharp for the big games. He has seen things in his game which are not quite on it & is trying to 'manage' him, which is a new thing for us.
Yaya was our best attacking player today imo & not there for strengh at all
We only won 7 away games the whole of last season??
He got it spot on because we won and that is all that matters mate.
I posted elsewhere before that as fans, the next 3 years are as much a learning curve about the game we all purport to know so much about as it is the players as the man is on a different planet and level.
We only won 7 away games the whole of last season??
We have seriously improved if that is the case.
I am happy with todays result. I think Pep was trying to find out his best B-team as it is going to be a long season on all fronts.
Fair enough, but I don't see why he can't be questioned on some decisions, isn't that why we have a forum. I'm not even criticising them strongly, just questioning some of them, and this week I can hardly complain, because we have 6 points and CL qualification, but that doesn't mean that some decisions can't be discussed either.Exactly. But I reckon Pep knows which is why I'm not questioning him on those decisions.
He's got a good week now to put his feet up. But I would imagine we need another in his likeness in the nit too distant future. Wish he was 23.
Correct, I said before great resource management from pep :-)I think Pep went with physicality and fresness for the most part.
Oh absolutely. Question away. I'm just forwarding one possible reason why some are rested and some aren't.Fair enough, but I don't see why he can't be questioned on some decisions, isn't that why we have a forum. I'm not even criticising them strongly, just questioning some of them, and this week I can hardly complain, because we have 6 points and CL qualification, but that doesn't mean that some decisions can't be discussed either.
I can even go along with the decision, but why not on the bench ? Had we suffered an injury in the back 3/4/5 it would surely be better to have him available. The only selection surprise for me was no Stones and, on reflection, that was not such a big surprise.
