Burnley - Post match thread

Just watched the full match back. To be fair, I thought that Lee Mason was a complete bell, but reluctantly I'll admit that he did a better job than I thought. I can't see me being too chuffed if that tackle went in on one of ours and they only got a yellow... OK, it was a red 9 times out of 10. As for their goal, could argue it either way but if I was watching a neutral game I think I'd probably say goal. Bravo needs to be stronger for me there. As for the rest of the little decisions, again didn't seem as bad second time around. Fantastic win in tough circumstances, and I'm probably alone in saying this but I don't think those tough circumstances were imposed on us, they were more imposed by us.

Savage didn't have a clue how to answer him,you could tell he was a beaten man by his jittery movements trying to shout over a reasoned argument put to him.
Just started screaming 'YOU LIKE A QUOTE YOU LIKE A QUOTE YOU LIKE A QUOTE' sounded deranged.

We won.

So why do I still feel angry and cheated?

Oh yes....because we were!!!!

Have to say you can't underestimate this win,yes burnley have a shocking away record the worst possibly in the league, but playing with ten men for 70 mins and with a cnut of a ref,all this after just playing 48 hrs before is one hell of a performance...

As predicted, Mason's awful decisions have been airbrushed out of existence by MOTD.

Exactly this

I wish someone would make compilation videos of all the contentious decisions we are on the wrong end of

My Arsenal chum is convinced I'm deluded but that's what happens when they don't get to see teh full picture.

Fuck the BBC and their manipulative editors

BBC have just done some damage limitation on MOTD after the (pardon the pun) savagery on 6-0-6 earlier. Much as it pains me to say it, clear red and now't wrong with their goal. Aside from that, we were immense today.

Nothing wrong with the Pep interview. The BBC are just trying to cause a controversy where non exists for whatever reason. I've totally lost faith in the "impartial" BBC media machine. They've had an agenda for years.

Time to fight back. We seriously need to get behind the Team, and stop slagging them off at every given opportunity. Far too many folk around these parts desperate for the usual bunch of weekly scapegoats to make the tiniest mistake so they can unleash their anger. Win, loose or draw we should be fully behind our Club (Team, Manager and coaching staff). The media scumbags will be trawling the social media sites and forums looking for any scraps to get their teeth into.

He's tweeted/instagrammed or some such nonsense, that today was a great win, especially 10 v 12!

Has he? Excellent. I would not be surprised if the booking is altered to dissent and the kick is reviewed by the bent FA and a three game ban is given.
