Burnley - Post match thread

Exciting 2nd half.
Bravo at fault with goal, but then makes a brilliant save near the end.
Seemingly the City facebook match page reckons it was a sending off.
Silva getting brought down looked a good claim from the other end.

Still can't work out whether Mason was following instructions via his ear piece or actually made his own mind up for some of those decisions. I can't believe he gave Ferny a red, yellow at best. Missed countless pushes on Oti and Kola and the foul on Bravo for the goal. Corrupt, shit or both?
....technically the ball crossed the line three times in that passage of play... so 3-2 Burnley...Also i just saw multi millionaire Sagna kick out at an honest Burnley pro...He has to go for that Shirley,,,,dont call me Shirley.......Agenda you bet,,,the comentators actually cheered when Burnley scored,,,,,c@nts to a man..

Go Pep that's the fight we want to see. Basically called it corrupt without saying it ha ha. Wow that bodes well, and for those who said he doesn't care that interview tells all. Convinced he will be here longer than three years he will want to crack this league and ram it down their throats when he does. He's really getting to the media and they don't like it up them. First half not quite sure if the tactics. Called the subs correctly as many did on the match thread and went for it. Thought Silva played well but Sergio was great when he came on. Great from the bench and his stats are good, but Kelechi needs more time in learning how to start games and pace for a full 90 minutes and stay in position. Long way to go this season but positive signs that Pep looks like he is on a mission.

According to danny mills it was an orange card. pillock.

Not pretty but job done.
Burnley have 1 point away from home this season, so any calls of Kolarov playing well have to be measured against the piss poor state of Burnley's attack on their travels.
But once it went to 10 v 12 all other considerations go out of the window and we have to praise the spirit showed by the team.
As for Mason; I've not seen a replay of the Fern incident but have heard it was red (but only yellow if Rojo did it). An incident soon after caught my eye when a Burnley player fouled a City player, it looked a nailed on yellow and Mason was only a few yards away. He eventually got the card out but only after putting his hand to his ear as though getting a message from one of his assistants. But the incident was right in front of him: Nobody in the ground had a better view yet he didn't act until someone else pointed it out to him. Bent as a nine bob note.
And we were fucking toothless with the starting 11; some nice approach play but useless in front of goals.

A great win, all things considered. A couple of points:

The ref was a fucking disgrace, I lost count of the amount of times they fouled us going up for headers, it took him until the 90th minute to give one. He gave us fuck all - as for the red card, once he dived in he was asking for it, other teams would have no doubt got away with it though

Why, as a team, do we need some sort of grievence to get up for games? Wether it be a red card or being a goal down? We need to start faster

Burnley are a long ball team, and dirty ****s. I think they will probably go down
