One of the most heartening aspects of yesterday's game was the attitude of Silvia and Aguero when they came on. No sulking just pure determination. These guys we were brilliant.
It was clear foul and a pk.Has anyone seen a replay of Daves penalty/free kick shout late on? Didn't see it on the motd (but was a little worse for wear by then) or on the extended highlights.
He (or/and others) already have.Fernandiho's tackle is a red card if the ref follows the letter of the law. So he took the opportunity to do so, on that one occasion.
He will book a rag or Liverpool player for a similar offence, in the coming season(s), just watch.
Did he ?
I saw the Sky version & noticed it immediately, unlike the commentators or Alan fucking Curbishly.
Tbh, whether Bravo should have done better, maybe he still should, but that's not the fucking point. The point is, we watch football week in week out, we see a ball come in, someone farts near a keeper & it's a free kick. Often just jumping close to a keeper is enough for them to drop the ball & the ref gives them a free pass. If he doesn't, they moan at him.
Suddenly, we have Manchester City, down to ten men, playing vs a team who have one chance in the game: lump it & head it. So the fucking referee, suddenly decides anything goes in the six yard box, as applying the fucking rules, would effectively finish Burnley off in the game. So their player is allowed to punch our goalkeeper in the mouth as he comes for the ball.
In 99 out of 100 games, a ref would give a free kick for that 'just in case'. In this instance, the bloke swings his arm toward Bravo's face, clear as day, & nothing is given.
If Bravo should have done better, fair enough, so should Joe & many other keepers we have seen drop the ball in similar circumstances, but to allow that assault to take place then, lest we forget, he also allowed the 2nd instance where the bloke headed it out of his hands, Nat Lofthouse style, as he couldn't have known in that instant, which attempt went over the line.
It fucking stinks.
The officiating team can't be as bad as they were without being under instructions. PGMOL, FA or Gambling cartel - take your pick.I've watched the 'assault' on Bravo a few times now, and at any other time in any other game with any other team, THAT is a foul on the goal keeper. He's jumping with his arm up into the keepers face.
The only thing we can take from it is 3 points and no injuries. How Magic Dave wasn't injured is beyond me, it's a dirty tackle and the refs assistant bottled it.
This!I am fed up.
Does anybody know anything about how to automate this? And anything about twitter bots? I know fuck all, but I think I understand that it is possible to affect the public opinion this way. I wish some clever guy would sit down and do some pro-City bots and some catch-the-anti-City-twats bots. I offer my help and financial support for such an undertaking.
We have certainly been on the end of some bad decisions but I don't believe for one minute that we are victim of any corruption domestically. To say otherwise is absurd. I genuinely believe over the season we will get the benefit of decisions too.
I do believe though that the media and to have an agenda against us.
In recent games, and particularly yesterday, we just fell victim to a referee who was out of his depth and totally inept.
Funny how these refs when they arrive at other grounds are well on top of their game and their isn't a muff about their ineptitude.

They aren't and there are lots of gripes. Read any forum and you will see it. Refs are too old for this pace of football in general and need help because they are no longer good enough for the standard of the players.
It's very difficult to show tongue firmly in cheek when one makes a post, but mine was firmly anchored thereto!
